Feed Everything

An alternative to the portal - make as many applications as possible able to provide RSS/Atom feeds. Then have an app that provides a nice view of all items by category, by name, etc.

Chuck Hagenbuch is very interested in this and has written Horde_Feed (http://cvs.horde.org/framework/Feed) as a PHP 5 library for feed parsing and generation.
